All ready for the IoT Blockchain Camp 2018 in Valencia

The city of Valencia (Spain) is already prepared to hold the first International Meeting on IoT and Blockchain technology in Spain (IOT-Blockchain Camp 2018), during 5 intensive days, from April 11 to 15.

The IOT-Blockchain camp is an open initiative designed to explore the potential of the Internet of Things (IOT) connected to decentralized registration systems (Blockchain), combining technical seminars where technology will be learned and a 48-hour hackathon where it will be applied in the real challenges of the industry.

With more than 70 participants from all over the world, focused on Information Technology, electronics and commercial backgrounds, 5 topics will be treated mainly:

  • Smart cities
  • Energy
  • Tourism
  • Transport
  • Health and sport

The technical team confirmed this week that they have deployed an Ethereum node and an IOTA node in the local network that can be used during the Hackathon.
